Sentinel Life Med Supp Rate Increases

Sentinel Life has announced they will be increasing both their Standardized Plans (plans effective prior to June 1, 2010) and their 2010 Modernized Plans (plans effective on or after June 1, 2010) for both IA and NE.  The increase will take effect on October 1, 2011 and letters will be mailed to policyholders starting September 1, 2011.  All applications signed and dated on September 30, 2011, or earlier, and received in their office by October 7, 2011 should use the current premiums.  Applications signed and dated on or after October 1, 2011 must use the new premiums.  IA's rate increase for both plans will be 11.5% and NE's will be 16%.
